Fantastic celebration event for UrbanPlan students at City Hall

Thanks to the GLA for hosting another fantastic celebration event at City Hall this week for students having recently completed ULI’s UrbanPlan programme.  Students heard from David Kong, Foster & Partners (one of the architects on the building) as well as from Chris Choa of AECOM and ULI UK Chairman. They also had the opportunity to network with property industry professionals and even managed a game of ‘people bingo’!

Another successful tour finishes

The UrbanPlan team visited another 20 schools in the Spring taking the overall total for the academic year to 35 schools. That means we have reached 800 pupils this year alone! And, overall, we have delivered to 1500 young people with the support of 350 industry volunteers. Twenty school tour planned for March 2017

The UrbanPlan UK team are off on tour again in March – this time we start in Southampton and finish in Aberdeen!  20 schools will mean we reach another 600 pupils -in just four weeks!  We still have a few volunteer spaces available if you are interested in getting involved please contact urbanplan@edcoms.co.uk.

Autumn 16 tour update and another award!

As the UrbanPlanUK Autumn 16 tour draws to a close, we are delighted to report that we have visited another 15 schools and reached another 450 pupils from Scotland, to Liverpool, via Sheffield and Birmingham and then London! Industry backs expansion of UrbanPlan UK
